Our number one priority is to make our customers happy and facilitate fun road trips and adventures. We strive to get things right every time and always ask our customers for their comments. When we do get feedback, we ask if we can post it so that other customers can get a realistic picture about our vans.

Mark and Jen are super friendly and very responsive to all of our crazy questions. Amazing van, suited us perfectly, going to be sad to say goodbye. Our 2 month trip was a perfect end to our 4 years in London. Couldn’t have done it without their help.

These guys are professional, Mark and Jen are a great couple who have a great product …(well it could do with a bit of tweaking in the storage area,) but what I like about these two is they are willing to take stuff on board and improve the goods. I hired a 2 berth to do a “Road Trip “ to Cornwall, with my son for my 60th birthday.
What a dream …I’m a convert; I would happily use this Company again. The vans are spacious, cosy, very user friendly and the beds are comfy, (a must after a days trekking up and down the coastal footpaths at Zennor. We found a site “Trevalgan Touring Park “two miles from St Ives, (they have a sister site “Ayr Holiday Park “ in St Ives,) very peaceful, with wonderful sea views. We stayed five nights (the last at the St Ives site) and felt very snug and cosy in our van when the weather turned a bit rough. I may now have to buy my own van, but why bother if you’ve got these guys on your doorstep.

We had a fantastic week in the camper van visiting the Isle of Lewis stopping off in the Lakes and the West Highlands along the way. You can camp for free on the Isle of Lewis. One site we stayed at backed onto a white beach with crystal clear water. Thank you!

Just wanted to say again how much we enjoyed our freewheeler adventure! We would definitely use Freewheeler campers again and have already recommended you to a bunch of our friends!

We had a blast cruising around the UK
I hired a Free Wheeler Camper to do a round of Christmas family visits with my fiance. My parents live in Lincolnshire, my brother in Yorkshire and Matt’s parents are down in Southampton. Instead of being a crazy and very expensive round of train fares, sleeping on sofas and waiting in the cold to be picked up from stations, we had a blast cruising around the UK. The camper was essential when we got to my brother’s house, as he does not have a spare room & the sofa had already been shotgunned, so we felt very smug all toasty in the van in the driveway escaping the 6am aunty duties! The only downside is the lack of loo in the van, so it’s quite a cold sprint to the house, or the hedge, depending on how lazy you are feeling, but then it makes it all part of the fun!

I hired a Free Wheeler Camper van with another girlfriend from university to make the most of the last month of summer holidays. We got a very swanky new blue van which was freshly converted and even had a socket to plug in our hairdryer…definitely more of a glamping van, which we were not complaining about! The mattresses are really comfy as are the duvets and pillows, which really make a difference to the experience (I am personally not a fan of sleeping bags). We drove around the Champagne district of France, stopping at wonderful little campsites, then cycling around on our granny bikes with huge baskets full of baguettes and bottles of champagne from our vineyard visits! Some of the memories are a bit blurry, but there was definitely champagne, cheese, sunshine and a whole lot of fun. Thanks to the FWC team for making this possible!

We hired a 4 person camper van to go up to Norfolk for a long weekend with the kids. Although the camper van only sleeps 4 officially, if you configure the beds so it is a double on the bottom and two bunks on the top, you can get 3 small bodies on the bottom very easily. They absolutely loved it and thought it was a real adventure. The van is quite long to drive, although my wife had a go and got used to it after a few minutes – you just need to make sure you pull out far enough at junctions! One thing to be aware of, which it does state on the website, but I have recommended the FWC team to remind people of – the fridge is electric, so gets charged up by driving (leisure battery) or works when you are plugged into a campsite. If you are wild camping and stationary for a longer period, the leisure battery only lasts so long, so go for the ice and cool box option as a back up plan! Great product overall and I would definitely hire one again!

You can tell that the thought has been put into each van
We booked our Free Wheeler Camper van in New Zealand before travelling, following a recommendation from a friend. We have been on campervan holidays many times before and were really impressed with the service we received and also the quality of the van for the price we paid. Jen and Mark were great – they convert all of the vans themselves, so you can tell that the thought has been put into each one. It was also a comfort that the vans are new, so not much chance of breaking down. They had some good recommendations about various places to visit in Bordeaux, which we naturally took advantage of! Thanks for everything!

I have hired the Free Wheeler Camper Audi estate car three times already this year for family days out. We live in zone 2, so it is not really worth having a car but we often like to take the kids out for the day or weekend. The car is big enough to contain all of our chaos and at only £40/day, it’s cheaper than most car hire shops.

Lots of great memories
I hired a two berth van to drive around Spain for a month with my boyfriend. The team at Free Wheelers made the process very smooth and actually fun – Mark and Jen are so enthusiastic and clearly are very passionate about their product. We live in Clapham, so it was so convenient to pick up the van from central London, allowing us to load up the van with our luggage and supplies before setting off. Lots of great memories and I am already planning my trip for next year – thanks guys!

I hired the four berth van and it was fun to say the least. It is not a luxury camper van, more inbetween the posh motorhomes that you get and the car style campers, which actually suited us perfectly. It has some home comforts and definitely the space which we appreciated. I recommended to Mark and Jen that they add an extra window to the side panel, which I believe they have taken on board and changed. Definitely recommended. Am hiring it with the same friends for Glastonbury again.
